PRG review Hi - I was looking for an application that was able to resize and change the embedded DPI in the file, and to intelligently set the longest side to 640 pixels (say). I used to be able to do this in Sizerox for the Mac, but have migrated to PC, and am looking for something similar. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem the PRG can do this,

Nice product... I really liked the product. I only used it on a batch of about 55 pictures, but it worked quickly and applied the watermark I selected easily. One thing I would like to see under the watermark is the ability to change the font easily. I didn't notice it in there. If this is already there, then kudos to you! :)

comments for Picture Resize Genius I have used this tool only a few times but so far it has been great. These days on takes larger and larger pictures with all the new cameras. It is nice to be able to easly make small pictures for email and uploading to the web.

DPI max of 255? I downloaded the Batch Picture resizer because I needed a fast way to resize a large quantity of pictures from web-quality 72 dpi to print-quality 300 dpi. I was disappointed to discover that the maximum dpi setting offered by the program was only 255 dpi. I'm sure the program is good for other purposes, but it definitely did not meet my needs.

TIME SAVER!!! The best 20 bucks I ever spent... I did 100 pictures watermarked and resized in less then 2 mins. That would of taken me hours one at a time with Photoshop or some other program. Good investment.

Picture resizer To my experience this program is very good and saved me a lot of time .I had a lot of pictures to resize from my camera to pictures in a powerpoint presentation which can be a lot smaller.

Good product, but I\'m really looking for a product that retains the .jpg quality / resolution of the original file and changes ONLY the pixel dimensions to precisely what I want, and that also allows me to copy one photo to several sizes with one click. For example, I need to be able to take a 3072x2304 photo in .jpg 80% quality and quickly make 1600x1200, 1024x768, 800x600 and 640x480 versions while still retaining the 80% .jpg quality.

In the last 3 years I was looking for a resize control or code. Last week I discovered ActiveResize and I tested it a little. It seems to be the solution!!!

Failed To Work Your application failed to work -The control was very simple to install and implement but it did not resize the forms correctly. My application set the form size correctly without your control but after adding your control to the form it became too high and too narrow - remove the control and the size reverted to the correct size - I didn't change any of my code.I used an alternative product (called ResizeKit) which has worked perfectly for me.

Great potential but lacking a couple things Active Resize would be great if a couple things were added/fixed. As it is right now I would not have much use for it. What it requires is the ability to resize the pictures in The back of listviews and buttons. Also the perspective ratios for the controls are not consistant. e.g. I have several textboxes on top of a listview. The text boxes are sized the same as the rows of text in the listview. However, when I stretch the form, the text boxes get out of allignment with the listview rows.

I'd like to point some small 'flaws' that may inviabilize the use of your tool (the following descriptions were taken using the Professional version):- When we set the screen size to 800x600, even using TrueType fonts, they look 'grey' and truncated. It looks like when you convert text to image and reduce its resolution too much. Some parts becomes difficult to read. The results varies for different fonts (tested with Verdana/Helvetica) but without significant change of quality.- Toolbars were not resized so they stay larger than the other controls.- The ListView scrollbars weren't scaled aswell and ...

When I travel, I usually write a blog. I have to reduce the size of the photos I want to include. I also often combine photos into panoramas, which requires size reduction as well.Using this free application has made this a lot less tedious, and it is quick and easy.

Did exactly the job I required which was a bulk resize. Not explored the software fully, but the wizard made it so easy, I didn\'t need too. A useful utility to have.

I absolutely love this download! It is the only download that I have found that works with Vista 64 bit. I had one just like this for Windows XP but had not been able to find one for my new laptop. Once again, I am able to take great pictures with my 10mp camera and upload them to any program I want! Thank you for making such a great product available for us!

It's a very good software the only thing that i realy hate is that if you have a background with it and a figure after improving it here and then using it in a game it shows figure + background...=)and f it's possible improve program resizing beacause it still needs some improvments.

Blurry Enlargements I'm not sure if there is a true way to enlarge a small picture without making it blurry or pixelated, but this program struggled with this task as well. Otherwise- it is an excellent resizing program.

Product work just fine except for one glaring error. The resampled images did not retain the date thet the picture was originally taken. Product has been removed.

Not good not worth the download. The program is very slow, doesn't give good options for sizing, I just ended up using a tool from the microsoft site.
